Pre-Surgical Care, Anesthesia & Recovery
We understand that anesthesia can feel intimidating for pet parents. Please know that your pet’s safety and comfort is our top priority.
Before surgery, we perform comprehensive bloodwork to help identify any underlying concerns and ensure your pet can safely receive anesthesia. Evaluating organ function — including the liver and kidneys — allows us to customize medications for optimal safety.
Each anesthesia protocol is carefully selected and individually calculated for your dog or cat. A Registered Veterinary Technician is dedicated solely to monitoring your pet throughout the procedure, continuously tracking vital signs and supporting them from induction through recovery.

After surgery, we equip you with detailed discharge instructions, medications, and pain-management tools so you feel confident caring for your pet at home. Our team is always here if questions arise during recovery.

Comprehensive Dental Care including Dental X-Ray at MAH
Dental care is essential to a long, healthy life. Many dogs and cats develop tartar buildup, fractured teeth, or other oral concerns that can — and should — be treated before they turn into bigger health problems.
For every dental procedure, we take full-mouth digital X-rays, just like your dentist does. This allows us to see what’s happening below the gumline and identify teeth that may need treatment or extraction. Infected tooth roots can be painful, and our goal is to get your pet back to feeling their best.
Some pet parents choose annual preventive cleanings, while others pursue dental care as concerns arise. We create a personalized plan for every pet.
